The principle
1 point per match, zero management: it’s the recommended mode for your first league. In Sniper, every match costs exactly 1 point. You cannot over-bid, which removes pure luck and rewards instinct. It’s the purists’ mode: it all comes down to the quality of your pick, not the size of your stake — nothing to size up, nothing to manage.
Your matchday budget equals the number of matches that matchday. So you can predict them all, or save your picks for the games you feel sure about. Unused points at the end of a matchday are lost: no carry-over, every matchday starts fresh.
How it’s played
- You join a league in Sniper mode (the creator picks the mode at league creation).
- Before each matchday, you see the list of open matches.
- You predict the ones you want (Home win / Draw / Away win), 1 point per match.
- Match ended → payout = 1 × (odds − 1) if correct, 0 otherwise.
You can still adjust a Sniper pick while the edit window is open: up to 5 minutes before kickoff.
